Question 01How much does it cost to start a research peptide brand?
If you already have a store, entry costs $1,000 as a refundable-credit deposit; if you need the store built for you, the Full Launch Package is $6,500 one-time. Neither number buys inventory, because there is no inventory to buy.
After that, cost is per order: the wholesale price of the vial, a $1 per vial label fee, and postage at carrier cost. You pay it weekly, net-7, against orders that already shipped, which means your customer has usually paid you before we invoice you.
The rest of your budget sits outside our pricing and stays under your control: a domain, hosting, payment processing fees, and whatever you spend on marketing. Those vary too much between brands for anyone to quote you a number honestly.
Question 02Can I sell peptides on Shopify?
No. Shopify's payments stack prohibits research peptides, and stores that launch on it tend to end up with a frozen account and funds held for months.
The freeze usually arrives after the store has real revenue sitting in it, which is what makes it expensive rather than merely inconvenient. Research-peptide brands run on WooCommerce instead. It is self-hosted, so the storefront software has no product policy to enforce against you, and payment processing is arranged separately.
That is also why the fulfillment providers in this niche, us included, are WooCommerce-native. The integration has to live where the stores actually are.
Question 03What ecommerce platform do peptide brands actually use?
WooCommerce.
It is a WordPress plugin, which means you host the store yourself and no platform vendor sits between you and your catalog. Payment processing is a separate arrangement, so a processor change does not take the storefront down with it.
Our order routing is built against WooCommerce for that reason.
Question 04Do I need to buy inventory upfront?
No. This is true dropship: the supplier holds the stock and ships each order as it comes in, so you never purchase a vial you have not already sold.
Your first money out is the deposit, and even that is credit against future orders rather than a fee.
Question 05What is peptide dropshipping?
Peptide dropshipping is an arrangement where you own the brand and the storefront while a fulfillment partner holds the product and ships each order under your name. You sell at your own retail price, we bill you wholesale plus label and postage, and your customer never learns we exist.
The longer version, including how an order routes and what the customer sees at each step, is in our guide to peptide dropshipping.
Question 06Who ships the orders and whose name is on the package?
Pure Chain Logistics Group packs and ships every order, and your brand is the only name on the package.
Shipping is blind: your sender name on the label, never ours, and nothing inside the box that points back to us. Packaging can be plain and discreet or fully branded to you.
Question 07How do white-label COAs work?
Every order ships with a third-party Certificate of Analysis for the exact lot in the box, watermarked with your brand name.
The lot matching matters more than the watermark. A COA from a different lot says nothing about the vial your customer is holding, so the document that ships is the one tied to the lot that shipped.
Question 08How fast can a brand launch?
Most brands are operational within 5 to 10 business days of onboarding.
That window covers both paths: connecting a store you already run, or having us build the storefront and catalog from scratch under the Full Launch Package.
Question 09What does the $1,000 deposit cover and is it refundable?
The $1,000 is a refundable-credit deposit, applied against your first orders to cover product and shipping.
It is not a setup fee and not a retainer. Whatever you have not used stays on the account as credit.
Question 10What does the $6,500 Full Launch Package include?
It covers a complete branded WooCommerce storefront, the full product catalog connected to our supply network, and order-routing automation wired from day one.
COAs are configured to watermark with your brand and white-label packaging is set up before the first order goes out. It is a one-time charge, and brands built this way are usually live within 5 to 10 business days.
Question 11Are there monthly fees, setup fees, or minimum orders?
No. No setup fees, no monthly minimums, and no minimum order quantities.
Billing is weekly on net-7 terms, against orders that actually shipped. Ship nothing in a given week and there is nothing to invoice. How that structure compares to the other ways a brand can get its orders shipped is laid out in our fulfillment comparison.
Question 12How does billing work per order?
Each order is billed as the wholesale price of the product, plus $1 per vial for the label, plus postage at carrier cost.
Two optional line items can appear: $1.49 for parcel protection if you want it, and $3.50 for an address correction if the carrier flags a bad address. There are no separate pick, pack, or box fees, and postage is passed through without a markup.
Question 13How do I get paid, and what margin do I make?
Your customer pays you directly through your own payment processor, and your margin is whatever is left after wholesale, the $1 label fee, and postage.
You set retail. We do not set it, cap it, or promise you a number, because what a compound sells for depends on your positioning, your audience, and what else is on the market that month. Run the arithmetic on your own SKUs before you launch rather than after.
Question 14What happens if a compound is out of stock?
We maintain backup suppliers on core compounds, so one supplier running dry does not stop your orders.
The point of the redundancy is that you hear about a supply problem from us, in advance, instead of from a customer asking where their order went.
Question 15How does order tracking get back to my customers?
Our fulfillment hub syncs the carrier tracking number back onto the WooCommerce order, which triggers your store's own native shipped email.
Your customer gets an email from your brand, with tracking, about an order they placed on your store. Nothing in that flow mentions us.
Question 16Is selling research peptides legal?
Research peptides are sold strictly FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY — NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL USE.
Each brand is responsible for compliant labeling and marketing in its own jurisdiction and should get its own legal advice before launching. No medical, therapeutic, or dosing claims may be made about these products, by you or by anyone selling on your behalf.
Pure Chain Logistics Group provides logistics only: sourcing, order routing, and shipping. We do not give legal advice, and nothing on this page is legal advice.
Question 17What payment methods do fulfillment invoices use?
Invoices are paid by wire, ACH, or Zelle.
Invoicing runs weekly on net-7 terms, itemized per order.
Question 18How many products can I offer?
There are 80+ wholesale SKUs available to launch with.
You do not have to list all of them. Plenty of brands open with a narrow catalog and add SKUs once they see what their audience actually buys, which costs nothing either way because you are holding no stock.
Question 19Is Pure Chain Logistics Group a real company?
Yes. Pure Chain Logistics Group LLC is a Florida limited liability company, Sunbiz document number L26000309514, at 240 Avenue L, Delray Beach, FL 33483, reachable at (561) 558-7020.
We publish our wholesale price data as an open dataset on GitHub, so you can check the numbers before you ever contact us.
We are not affiliated with any blockchain or cryptocurrency project named PureChain. The name collision is a coincidence.
Question 20Dropshipping vs buying inventory: which should a new brand choose?
Dropship while you are still learning which compounds your audience buys, and buy inventory only once a specific SKU sells predictably enough that the per-unit saving beats the cash it locks up.
Dropship puts no capital at risk, needs no storage, and lets you list a wide catalog to find out what moves. Buying inventory lowers your unit cost at volume, but you are forecasting demand with your own money, and a compound that stops selling becomes stock you are stuck with.
The two are not exclusive. Nothing stops you from dropshipping the long tail while stocking the two or three SKUs that carry your volume. The mechanics of the dropship side are in our guide to peptide dropshipping.
